The sense of smell and its importance to society is studied in this chapter, mainly focusing on legal interpretations as a case study to demonstrate the irritations between different social systems in particular science and law. The research draws mainly on three research methods: phenomenological-hermeneutical, historical-evolutive, and inductive; its approach is transdisciplinary, quantitative and qualitative. Its technique of research is bibliographical and documental.
